Beans are some of the easiest and fastest seeds to grow, perfect for beginners. Here’s some extra info to help you succeed:
They swell up.
After soaking, beans can easily swell to twice the size they were in their dried form. That’s completely normal. The skin can sometimes fall off, that doesn’t really matter for the germination process
They grow fast
We love to grow big climbing beans such as Gigandes or Styrian beans. They grow so fast! You can expect them to grow several centimeters per day. They’re great climbers and you can train them to grow over pipes and gutters to camouflage them. They also flower and will produce large beans that you can eat, or plant again.
