From leftover pit to lush plant! 🥑✨ Growing an avocado plant in water is way easier than you think—just give it the right conditions and a little patience.

Here’s how I grew mine:
1️⃣ Use an avocado pit & remove the skin after soaking the pit for 24h. 2️⃣ Wrap the pit in a damp tissue, pop it in a plastic bag, and keep it in a warm spot. 3️⃣ After a few weeks, roots will appear—time to move it to water! 4️⃣ Use a germination plate to keep the roots of the pit in the water. 5️⃣ Watch it grow! 🌿 With a little care, you’ll have your own avocado plant in just a few weeks.

From forgotten sweet potato to a lush green plant! 🍠✨ It’s so easy to grow plants in water—especially when you give them the right support.

I used our Germination Plate L to hold the potato just above the water, letting the roots grow freely. After a few weeks? A thriving, leafy beauty! 🌿

Here’s how you can grow your own sweet potato plant in water:
1️⃣ Find a sprouted sweet potato – If your potato has little roots or buds (because it’s been sitting in your cupboard too long), it’s perfect!
 2️⃣ Fill a glass with water – Make sure the water level reaches just below where you want the roots to grow.
 3️⃣ Use a germination plate (or skewers) – Place the sweet potato so only the bottom touches the water.
 4️⃣ Be patient! – Within a few weeks, roots will start growing down, and leaves will sprout on top. 🌱
 5️⃣ Top up the water regularly – Keep the roots submerged and change the water if it gets cloudy.

Removing stickers from terracotta pots is the worst! 🏺😤 I tested different methods so you don’t have to:

1️⃣ Tape method – Stuck a piece of tape over the sticker, pressed it down, and peeled… Only the top layer came off. Tried it a few times, still a fail. ❌ 2️⃣ Olive oil – Rubbed some on to dissolve the adhesive, but honestly? Just made the pot greasy. ❌ 3️⃣ Hairdryer – Heated the sticker for a few seconds, and it peeled off easily! But a little sticky residue remained. ✅ 4️⃣ Nail polish remover (acetone) – Applied it, scraped with my fingernail, and boom—completely clean pot! ✨✅

The best combo? Hairdryer first, then acetone to remove any leftover glue.
